Ingredients

  • 40 minutes if making your own broth
  • 20 minutes if using leftover chicken meat and canned broth

  • 1 lb chicken legs (1/2 kilo) or other chicken parts with flesh and bones
  • 3 medium carrots, julienned
  • ¼ medium cabbage, sliced into strips
  • ½ cup chopped green onions
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 7 cups of water
