Baked Pasta with Chicken and Sun Dried Tomatoes

Ingredients

  • 500 g penne rigate or rigatoni
  • 1/2 cup plain flour
  • 6 cups whole milk
  • 2 tsp coarse sea salt
  • salt
  • 450 g boneless chicken meat
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 300 g white mushrooms - trimmed and thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes - drained and thinly sliced
  • 2 cups grated provolone or matured cheddar
  • 1 cup] finely grated parmesan
  • 12 minutes then cook for just
  • 9 minutes Drain and set aside
  • 2 cups of milk while whisking all the time. Bring to a simmer. Repeat this until all milk is used.
