Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 tsp anchovy paste
  • 1 1/2 TBS mayonnaise
  • 1 1/2 TBS olive oil
  • 3 TBS fresh lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 TBS Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/4 to 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • salt to taste
  • 3 cloves garlic, peeled and finely grated or minced

  • For the Croutons
  • 1/2 loaf day old French bread
  • spray oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • salt and black pepper to taste

  • For the salad
  • 1 head of romaine lettuce, washed, dried and chopped
  • 90 g coarsely grated Parmesan cheese
